Ending Gun Violence

From mass shootings to suicide, gun safety is commanding public attention and we must take advantage of the moment. America does not have to be the only developed nation that cannot protect our families from gun violence. Make this your political issue.

Here are a series of things you can do right now:

• Educate yourself about the upcoming Oregon governor’s election and make sure you are registered to vote this fall!
• Support the Lift Every Voice Oregon campaign to get IP 17 on the November ballot. IP 17 would ban large capacity magazines over 10 rounds, calls for a permit (license) to purchase any gun, and complete background checks.
• Make a difference! Get involved with groups like Lift Every Voice Oregon, Ceasefire Oregon, and Moms Demand Action.
